Playing tourist

Down the street from our house is Gunston Hall, the home of George Mason who wrote the VA Bill of Rights and was instrumental in our constitution.

We found some wild strawberries on the path to the Mason's burial site.
Nana and Audrey being southern belles. Nana was trying to get Audrey to say, "Oh Lawd!"
Audrey loved churning butter (even though it was empty).

We visited Mt. Vernon (George Washington's home) and Arlington National Cemetery

The view from the cemetery

After our first day of playing tourist, we realized that visiting historical sites was not for a 2 year old, but what are we supposed to do? Stay home?
