1st BD photo shoot

We finally got Audrey's first birthday pictures taken. We had to delay because she fell and bumped her had 3 days before her birthday. She had a massive goose egg on her forehead. Not a good time for professional photos. So, we got them done tonight. I had such a hard time choosing which ones to get, so I got ALL the ones I liked :) Daddy won't mind once he sees how great they are. He comes home on Sat. We can't wait!! Don't worry, I'll post plenty of pix when he gets here. Thanks to our friend, Leanne Phelps, who lent us her daughter Noelle's poofy skirt. We're so grateful!

Happy 1st Birthday Audrey Hope!

From the very first time we kissed you one year ago, we have loved you more and more every second of every day. You make us laugh with your silly personality and endless energy, and we are so proud of your courage and curiosity. What an honor to get to love you, Audrey Hope!

New Shoes

Now that she's walking, we had to get Audrey some new shoes. Boy, was it hard to keep it to a reasonable 3 pairs!!

Audrey's Independence Day

Audrey and I spent most of our day playing at Grandma and Grandpa Braxton's house today. Audrey wanted to show off how she is able to walk 5 whole steps, but instead walked about 8 feet and then around 10 feet, surprising us all. Of course, Mommy did not have the video camera (I just need the thing implanted in my forehead.). But when we got back home, we had to show Nana and Papa, too, and caught it on video this time. Uh-oh... it has begun! (Thanks to Nana for the great blog title.)
