Toilet Paper Tangle

I must admit: I let this happen. In the 2 seconds I wasn't looking, Audrey wrapped the TP around her body twice. I ran to get the camera knowing she would likely follow me. Hey, it'll make a great scrapbook page :)

Kitty Love

It looks like SOMEONE might be begging her parents for a kitty one day. But, unfortunately, Andy and I dislike cats enough that we'll have to deny her this dream.... maybe some sea monkeys instead.

Fork Fun

Audrey's sweet little personality shows up more and more each day. She loves to be goofy and she knows when she is being silly. Her fork routine is one of her favorites. She'll keep the fork in her mouth and that goofy grin on her face until you acknowledge her trick. I'm soooo crazy about this girl!

DUCKS

We went to my Grandma's house, Audrey's GG, for lunch today because my Aunt Diane was in town. GG has ducks in her backyard! Jewels and Jay LOVED feeding them (and discovering a nest with 7 eggs inside). We tried to get Audrey to say, "duck," but she insisted that they were "ish." Ever since Daddy taught her the word "fish," everything is an "ish."

Ponytail

Even though her hair is not quite long enough for one, I was determined to get Audrey's hair into a ponytail. She looked adorable (even if it was a sloppy ponytail).

KISS

Audrey gives kisses now (when she feels like it.) You can ask and ask, but she'll only kiss you when SHE wants to. Luckily, Andy caught one on camera. Excuse the hairdo and lack of makeup.

Dress up

This was taken while we were staying at the condo in Lakeland. Audrey was unfolding the laundry and I thought it would be cute to put Daddy's shirt on her. She put the bra on herself. Andy and I couldn't stop laughing.

Daddy's Home!!

Well, he was for 11 days. We had such a blast seeing old friends in Panama City and celebrating Audrey's 1st birthday with the family back home and of course, just being the 3 of us once again. God is taking care of each of us while we're apart, but there's no question we're better together.

My amazingly talented brother agreed to be photographer at Audrey's birthday party and created a sweet video. Check it out at gallery.mac.com/perkinsbrian Click on "Audrey's 1st Birthday" at the bottom left.
