6 years!!

I can't imagine it's possible for anyone else to love her husband as much as I do mine. Andy is so incredible that I cannot speak when I think about all he means to me. Today, we celebrate 6 years of marriage..... 6 years that I would not trade for anything or anyone. No, they weren't perfect, always so happy years, but I did learn to love him more each day. Even though we'll be celebrating in different countries, today has brought some fun stuff for Andy. He got his present in the mail TODAY when I thought it would be at least a day late. And Outback Steakhouse is on base today serving steaks, bloomin onions, desserts and Carraba's pasta!!! God really does care about the little things, doesn't he?

(I wanted to post a wedding pic, but I don't have any on the computer, so here's the proposal from just five months before. Man, I wish I still looked this good!)

Showing off her new 'do

What a doll!

Such a ham... look at that tongue

Cousin Jewelya made this invitation to her Halloween party

First Haircut

Audrey desperately needed her "bangs" trimmed, so I had my mom give Audrey her first haircut (I'm much better at buzz cuts.). Now when her hair gets messed up, it doesn't fall in her eyes :)

Splish Splash

Audrey spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house last night. They don't have a tub, so she got a mini bath in their sink. Looks like Audrey turned it into a waterpark. I love how these pictures really "caught" the fun :)

Pretending

I caught Audrey sharing her milk with her brown bear. I love that she put him in the high chair first. When she saw me with the camera, she ran up to it (the close-up). Then she took the bear to the swing. I think she was showing off for the camera :) I just love watching Audrey's imagination begin to take off.

Rescue of a Squirrel

I saw an injured baby squirrel in our front yard this morning and didn't know what to do with her since she was still alive. I called a couple vets until I found one that would care for her free of charge. My nephew, Jay, helped me put her in a box. I made him where a glove in case there were guts underneath that we couldn't see because I knew she had to have fallen out of the tree. When she got home from school, Jewelya (the family animal lover and expert) and I took "Georgie" to the vet. Turns out that Georgie is not injured, but severely dehydrated. The vet people were so nice. They let Jewelya feed the squirrel some formula from a syringe. I was able to get pix on my camera phone, but I have no idea how to get them off. Jewelya hasn't stopped talking about it since. Oh, and the vet lady will take Georgie home to her 40 other rescued squirrels tonight. She'll have to feed her every 2 hours!! That's worse than a human baby. What a fun, rewarding day (and I don't even like animals!)!

Grandpa & PaPa

Audrey is so blessed to have two great men to love on her when Daddy cannot.

Playing in Daddy's boat

Combing PaPa's hair..... I used to do the same thing when I was younger. Believe it or not, I used to be able to put ponytails in this head of hair.
