No go on the Chicken

I bought this costume for only $3 last Nov. Unfortunately, Audrey hates it. It barely fits and the hat annoys her. Without the hat, she's not really a chicken. The good news is I get to shop for something girly now, but I have to stay away from hats and masks and probably wings.

Potty Update

Just to let you know, Audrey is still peeing in the potty every night before her bath, and even a few times throughout the day. In fact, today she POOPED in the potty!!! I know you're all bummed that I don't have a picture of that! I can't help but laugh every time I think of this potty stuff. I am having such a blast cheering on my little "potty prodigy" (to quote a friend). It's so great that there is no pressure or expectations.... we're just going with the flow (pun intended) :)

Nana's Grandbabies

Mom needed a picture of her grandkids for a special chapel service at school honoring grandparents. I think she'll be speaking with a picture of the kids on the screen behind her. We realized that we don't have a picture of all 5 of them together, so we quickly took some this morning. Yes, all 5 grandbabies are at Nana and Papa's house by 7 am most mornings!!

The Potty

I know it's a little early, but I bought the potty for 2 reasons: I wanted her to get used to it and to know its name when the time comes; and I know (the hard way) that she always pees when undressing for her bath, so why not sit her on it each night. And wouldn't you know on our first try, she PEES!!! This is the coolest potty because it plays a triumphant song when "something" hits the pot. I heard the song within a minute of her sitting down (must have been the bath's running water). We'll do this every night.... who knows, our last box of diapers might be in the near future. Oh, and when she's dressed during the day, Audrey will sit on the potty with a book. She must have seen SOMEONE doing this before :)

Park Part II

As you can see, Audrey had as much fun on the bench as she did on the playground equipment.

Morning at the Park

Grandma and Grandpa (Braxton) met us a the park this morning. We had a great time and gorgeous weather. There was even a breeze every now and then!!

Audrey got ahold of PaPa's golf hat. So cute!

Happy Birthday Sis!

Happy (one day late) Birthday to my big sis, Jennie. You are such a wonderful "duh," I love sharing a birthday cake with you. (Of course, I didn't always, but now I do.) Sorry it wasn't the best birthday day, but Saturday was fun :) Love you!!
