Green Bean Gravity

Our daughter has discovered gravity!! More proof that she takes after her Daddy, the physics major (for one semester). She makes me laugh every day. How I wish I knew what she was thinking.

New Favorite

Fork First

Audrey has mastered getting a fork into her mouth!! I have to load it for her, but she knows where it goes. She can eat with a spoon, too, but the food hardly ever makes it into her mouth because she'll turn it upside down. After watching the video, I'm sure you won't be able to tell how proud I am. Hee hee hee.

Ready to Call Daddy

Audrey seems to know what to do with phones now (She's "talked" on cell phones, too.) She'll put it on her shoulder and shout, "Ah!" Oh, and if you think she looks filthy, you're right! She is a full blown kid now. She plays so hard her hair gets soaked in sweat, plus I let her try to feed herself with a spoon at dinner and it wasn't very successful.

Sit & Spin

Audrey loves to spin around while she's sitting and I finally caught a spin on camera. I think it is SO funny and wish I knew what was going on in her sweet head when she does it.

Chocolate

I cheated on my diet today and took Jewels and Jay for ice cream. I've been so good about not letting Audrey eat junk food, but she really wanted a taste and I'm the momma, I can give her what I want. (Really she only had like 3 bites... no harm done.) But she loved the chocolate ice cream and even wanted a bite of the cone. Couldn't resist this chocolatey face.

We went to the park first and had fun on the slides and swings.

11 months old!

It's hard to believe in just one month our little pea pod will be one!! I'm obsessed with the party planning.

Ball Hog

Here is further proof that Audrey is no longer afraid of this ball. She does not make these same sounds while playing with any other toy. And notice how she does not share the ball.

Math Whiz

I was practicing multiplication facts with the big kids and Audrey wanted in on the fun. It was even cuter before I got the camera out. She was standing at the table next to Jewelya, and she would look up at her while she was clapping as if to get Jewelya to clap too.

First Mini Step

Audrey's body is so ready to walk, but she seems a little scared. As you'll see, she can stand on her own and even took one mini step!! Don't miss her saying "bye" when she gets to the couch.

Fountain Fun

Audrey LOVED the fountains at one of the pools on our vacation. She even stuck her face in them a few times without crying.

The family broke out into hysterics one morning when Audrey and I walked out to get some breakfast. Apparently, she finally shares a trait with me: great hair!!

Swimming

We went to Kissimmee for a little vacation last week and spent a lot of time in the pools. Audrey just loved it.

These fountains were her absolute favorite. She kept creeping closer and closer to the water and even got squirted in the face a few times with no tears. I've got a video of her at these fountains, but am still trying to get it on here (I got a new mac and am still figuring out how it works.).
